Ingredients
- 3 cups mashed potatoes (cold works best)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Prepare the mixture
In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until fully combined. - Shape the patties
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round, thick patties. - Heat the pan
Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. - Cook the patties
Place the patties in the pan and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. - Drain and serve
