Grilled Cheese Sandwich

🧀 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (white or sourdough)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (softened)
  • 2–3 slices of cheese (such as cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • Optional: a pinch of garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Butter the bread:
    Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Assemble the sandwich:
    Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a pan.
    Add the cheese slices on top.
    Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side up.
  3. Cook:
    Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
    Grill the sandwich for about 2–3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve:
    Remove from the pan, cut in half, and enjoy while it’s hot and melty!

Tip:
For extra flavor, try adding a slice of tomato, cooked bacon, or caramelized onions inside before grilling.
