Creamy Scrambled Eggs on Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 slice thick bread (sourdough or sandwich bread)

Instructions:

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt and milk (if using), and whisk gently.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over low heat and add the butter.
  3. Pour in the eggs and stir slowly with a spatula, scraping the bottom of the pan.
  4. Keep stirring gently until the eggs are soft, creamy, and slightly runny.
  5. Remove from heat immediately (they will continue to cook).
  6. Toast the bread until golden and crispy.
  7. Spoon the scrambled eggs over the toast.
  8. Finish with freshly ground black pepper on top.

Serving Tip:

Serve immediately while warm. You can add chives, cheese, or avocado for extra flavor.
