  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose or bread flour
  • 1 cup (240ml) warm water
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons (7g) active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons mixed seeds (flaxseeds, sesame, chia, or sunflower)

Instructions:

  1. Activate the Yeast:
    • In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar (or honey), and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large mixi bubung bowl, combine flour and salt.
    • Add the activated yeast mixture and oil.
    • Mix until a rough dough forms.
  3. Kneading:
    • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    • Gradually add the mixed seeds while kneading.
  4. First Proofing:
    • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1–2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Shaping & Second Proofing:
    • Punch down the dough, shape it into a round or loaf, and place it on a baking sheet.
    • Cover and let it rise for another 30–45 minutes.
  6. Baking:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  7. Cooling & Serving:
    • Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
