🧀 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (white or sourdough)
- 2 tablespoons of butter (softened)
- 2–3 slices of cheese (such as cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- Optional: a pinch of garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor
Instructions:
- Butter the bread:
Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice. - Assemble the sandwich:
Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a pan.
Add the cheese slices on top.
Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side up. - Cook:
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Grill the sandwich for about 2–3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted. - Serve:
Remove from the pan, cut in half, and enjoy while it’s hot and melty!
Tip:
For extra flavor, try adding a slice of tomato, cooked bacon, or caramelized onions inside before grilling.
