Creamy Marinated Chicken Bake
Ingredients:
- 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, or wings)
- 1 cup yogurt
- ½ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or parsley
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
- Prepare the Marinade:
In a large bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise (or sour cream), minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and olive oil. Stir well to combine. - Marinate the Chicken:
Place the chicken pieces in a baking dish and pour the creamy marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for better flavor). - Bake the Chicken:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Bake uncovered for 40-50 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 75°C/165°F).
- Serve:
