🍲 Creamy Sausage Soup Recipe

  • 300g (10 oz) ground sausage (beef or Italian sausage)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 medium potatoes (diced small)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1–2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Β½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

  1. Cook the sausage
    In a pot over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the sausage until browned. Break it into small pieces.
  2. Add aromatics
    Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add potatoes & broth
    Stir in diced potatoes and pour in chicken broth. Let it simmer for about 10–15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  4. Make it creamy
    Add milk and heavy cream. Stir gently and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes & seasoning
    Add chopped tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–5 more minutes.
  6. Serve
    Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
